We are interested in speaking with highly motivated, results focused individuals who can hit the ground running full of energy and commitment. This is an ideal opportunity for you to utilize your knowledge and experience gained as a Residential Sales Estimator in the construction industry.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Residential Estimator, ideally having worked across a number of different industry sectors. Working with a wide range of people in a fast paced environment you will have strong commutation skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure. The role of Estimator will see you prepare quotations, measure and calculate the cost of materials and labour.
Key functions include:
Working within deadlines
Estimate material and labour for new projects
Offer general support to the site team
Initiating and delivering value solutions
Essential skills and attributes will include:
Sales estimating experience
Excellent commutation and written skills
Multi-tasking skills and ability to work on more than one project at a time
Sound computer skills – Microsoft Office, Google Docs
Strong knowledge of Australian Construction Standards
Good pricing and analytical skills across all trades
Ability to work in a team environment — contribute to positive working relationships
Ability to maintain a consistent and high standard of work at all times
Confident, professional manner – self driven and enthusiastic
