Driving Miss Daisy (Quant Care Inc)
Driving Miss Daisy offers services that improve the quality of life for seniors and those with disabilities or special needs.
Driving Miss Daisy is looking for a reliable, energetic, honest, dependable and hardworking Team Member who has experience and loves dealing with seniors and people with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
Driving clients to different appointments in the company’s vehicles, some of them are fully wheelchair accessible, errands, social events.
Accompaniment, Assistance, Home Support, Personal Care
This is a part time contract with split shifts, there are usually «windows»(breaks) between the rides/ home support visits.
Requirements:
Valid driving license and clean drivers abstract
First Aid and CPR training; Food Safety certificate is an asset
Clean criminal record
Physically fit, able to operate wheelchair accessible van (we will train)
Proficient with Excel, MS Office, email, GPS systems, etc
Reliable, punctual, mature, professional, respectful and cordial.
Ability to keep time log and driving records.
Must be able to work staggered working shifts, split shifts, weekends
This job is suitable for a semiretired person, or a person who is planning to develop his/her carrier in the health industry.
We pay for the time spent with clients.
Compensation 17$/h for home support; driving and assisting clients during their appointments or errands $19/h. Compensation for the short rides will be discussed in person.
