Job Description
We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team of professionals at the Concord location (close to Steeles & Keele near York U). As a Graphic Designer, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating your creative potential through:
— Creating and presenting concepts for web and applications.
— Designing graphics and layouts for branding, websites, apps, software, etc.
— Creating production-ready graphic design materials for web and apps
— Photo editing and manipulation
— Generating creative options, ideas and graphic elements for potential designs
— Obtaining and maintaining image databases from various sources including image banks and production libraries
— Collaborating with other departments within our company, such as consultants, web developers, and writers
Requirements:
— Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices
— Demonstrable experience working with wireframes, Storyboards and user flows (with a particular focus on WEB design)
— Advanced capabilities in using multimedia design software and graphic processing software (such as Adobe illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Flash, After Effect, etc.) to develop and finish design projects.
— Photography and post-production (including working with SLR camera, lights, etc.)
— Minimum 3 years of experience in the field is required
